Recruitment Brochure for the "Double Hundred Plan" on Cultivating Global Leading Talents of the Digital New Generation

Currently, the world is experiencing continuous geopolitical conflicts, economic downturns in various countries, and the digital technology revolution has entered a new phase of artificial intelligence. The rise of anti-globalization and counter-globalization, along with the emerging new wave of globalization, represents a rebirth and reshaping of existing industrial chains, supply chains, political landscapes, and economic orders. China has become the world's second-largest economy relying on its powerful manufacturing sector. Under the new circumstances, manufacturing not only faces intensified challenges such as soaring costs and the unsustainability of the low-profit, high-volume model, but the rapid development of artificial intelligence and green sustainability also brings new opportunities for industrial transformation and upgrading.

Leveraging artificial intelligence to comprehensively promote the intelligent transformation and upgrading of enterprises, help developing countries narrow the digital divide, share the benefits of this technological revolution, and achieve global common development. To this end, the China Association of Trade in Services (CATIS), in conjunction with relevant departments, has launched the global public welfare activity Double Hundred Plan on Cultivating Global Leading Talents of the Digital New Generation.

This plan will select 100 young Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs from various industries and 100 post-80s and post-90s new generation successors planning to take over their family businesses for professional training on a global scale. Enterprises interested in participating are invited to apply and recommend candidates.

Explanation of the "Double Hundred Plan"

I. Framework of the Double Hundred Plan

The “Double Hundred Plan” mainly consists of three stages: self-enhancement, professional team empowerment (including but not limited to professional coaching and incubation services), and global deployment through group overseas expansion.

(I) Self-Enhancement

1.Basic Courses: Internationalization Strategy Planning for Overseas Expansion, Compliance Strategies for Internationalization (Cross-border Taxation, Legal Affairs, Intellectual Property, etc.), Cross-border Investment and Financial Services, Cross-border Business Team Building and Management, Global Supply Chain Management, AI Applications and Cross-border E-commerce, International Finance and Stable coin Development.

2.Soft Skills: Cross-cultural Communication, Brand Building and Management, International Business Negotiation and Techniques, Corporate IP Development, Corporate Digital Management.

3.Resource Integration and Public Services: CATIS integrates resources from governments, business associations, and professional institutions across countries, as well as providing connection services for overseas warehouses, overseas channels, and overseas human resources, to establish relevant public service platforms.

4.Other Services: Provide relevant services based on the business development needs of enterprises.

5.Capacity Enhancement Models

(1)Master Lectures: Invite experts, scholars, and industry leaders in professional fields to provide in-depth and targeted explanations, aiming to offer consulting or industry-specific solutions.

(2)Case Studies + Workshops: Invite second-generation successors of successful cases + expert coaching + group discussions to deconstruct and analyze successful cases, identifying shortcomings and potential extensions.

(3)Sand Table Simulations + Enterprise Visits: Identify key industry issues, conduct centralized sand table simulations, and combine them with enterprise visits to find breakthroughs and solutions to problems.

(4)Lighthouse Factory Study Tours: Visit benchmark flexible supply chain factories (such as SHEIN's partner factories) to learn about small-batch, rapid-response, and digital supply chain management.

(5)Team Collaboration: Complete coursework tasks through team collaboration, simulating real business environments to enhance leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

(II) Professional Team Empowerment

1.Online Business and International Market Expansion: Leverage the advantages of CATIS's cross-border e-commerce enterprises and expert resources to provide consulting and solutions for participating enterprises in cross-border e-commerce and international market expansion, offering one-on-one services to support them every step of the way.

2.Establish Public Service Platforms for Productive Service Industries: Select high-quality service providers in various service elements along the industrial chain, including scientific research and innovation (including but not limited to software R&D and design), inspection and testing, logistics and distribution, financial services, green services such as ecological environmental protection, digital empowerment, wholesale, retail, and after-sales services, brand patent protection, and marketing, to establish public service platforms for manufacturing transformation and upgrading.

3.Dual Transformation of Manufacturing (Digitalization and Servitization): During the process of expanding international markets through cross-border e-commerce, after establishing relatively stable relationships with customers or end consumers, promote the transformation of enterprise production ends towards small-batch, rapid-response models or digitalized, intelligent factories. Simultaneously, leverage professional institutions to drive enterprises towards high value-added, value-added services, brand value, and solution-providing service-oriented transformations. On one hand, utilize digitalization to reduce costs and increase efficiency; on the other hand, enhance enterprise revenue and profits through servitization.

(III) Global Deployment through Group Overseas Expansion

1.Pre-positioned Marketing: Establish pre-positioned marketing bases in North America, the EU, ASEAN, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Pre-position industrial belt marketing to target countries based on quarterly consumer scenarios, actively expanding 2B channels and 2C experiences to gradually establish a global marketing network system. On this basis, add three services: warehousing, intermediate product trade reprocessing, and after-sales maintenance and resale.

2.Support for Overseas Localization: Integrate the 100 young Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs based on different regions and business areas to serve the globe in a mutually reinforcing model. Focus on assisting young people in specific regions and countries to develop their domestic e-commerce, agriculture, processing trade, or local industries and services through service trade forms such as digital technology, solutions, talent development, industry standards, and intellectual property, forming new global supply chains and industrial chains with China.

3.Establish Overseas Shared Public Service Platforms: Collaborate with overseas institutions of the Ministry of Commerce and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade to establish regional overseas shared public service platforms, providing services such as human resources, tax compliance, legal services, and government relations for overseas-bound enterprises to help them reduce costs, risks, and enhance efficiency.

. Recruitment Targets

1.Enterprise Size Requirements: In principle, enterprises should have an output value exceeding 100 million yuan. For hidden champions in niche sectors, the output value requirement can be relaxed to 50 million yuan. These enterprises hold a certain market position and technical strength in their respective niche sectors, are leaders in their industries, and possess significant development potential.

2.Enterprise Type: Primarily targeting private enterprises engaged in manufacturing, especially factories with high foreign trade dependency.

3.Training Targets: Young entrepreneurs, children or successors of enterprise founders with succession plans. Priority will be given to those with overseas study experience and enterprise management experience, typically aged between 30 and 45.

. Application Instructions

1.Class Size: 30 participants per cohort.

2.Course Duration: A combination of six months of relatively intensive study and lifelong learning.

3.Course Fees: Free of charge (transportation, accommodation, and meals are at the participant's own expense).

. Recruitment Process

1.Application Period: From July 1st to August 31st.

2.Preliminary Qualification Review: Complete within September 10th.

3.Interview Stage: Arrange on-site interviews on September 15th, with online interviews possible under special circumstances.

4.Admission Stage: Announce the list of admitted participants on September 20th.
