To All Relevant Units:
The Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Promoting High-Quality Development of Service Trade Through High-Level Opening Up explicitly states: Support universities in strengthening discipline and major construction related to service trade, enhancing professional training for service trade talents, and facilitating the cross-border mobility of professional talents. With the accelerated integration of digital technology and artificial intelligence into the service industry, significant progress has been made in innovating service and trade models, optimizing trade structures and business processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
To implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s instruction to "optimize discipline settings and talent cultivation models in higher education institutions" and establish a talent system that meets the development needs of the service trade, the China Association of Trade in Services and Dianxi Applied Technology University, in collaboration with relevant institutions, will jointly host the 10th Modern Service Industry and Service Trade Talent Cultivation Forum & the 3rd Modern Service Industry and Service Trade Education and Teaching Achievement Solicitation Activity (hereinafter referred to as the "Forum") in Dali, Yunnan Province, from July 15–17, 2025.
The Forum, upgraded and renamed from the China Service Outsourcing Industry Development and Talent Cultivation Summit, has been successfully held for nine sessions since its inception in 2011. It has been recognized as a major supporting event of the Ministry of Education’s Industry-University Cooperation and Collaborative Education Project Platform and the China International Fair for Trade in Services (formerly the China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services), becoming the most influential annual gathering for government, industry, academic, and research sectors to jointly explore talent cultivation in modern service industries and service trade.
This Forum will focus on emerging technologies and business formats, exploring and innovating school-running models and talent cultivation approaches. It aims to establish new mechanisms for "government-industry-university-enterprise" collaboration in talent cultivation, introduction, utilization, and rational mobility, while practically advancing the "high-quality construction of Double First-Class initiatives" and the "Chinese Characteristics High-Level Vocational Education Development Plan."
We hereby sincerely invite relevant leaders and researchers from your institution to attend the Forum and participate in activities including the solicitation of education and teaching achievements, industry-education integration case submissions, university-enterprise cooperation matching, and academic exchanges.
