On June 17th, the 2025 World Cross-Border E-Commerce Development Conference, jointly hosted by the World Trade Point Federation, China UK Business Development Centre, and China Association of Trade in Services, and co-organized by the China Cross-Border E-Commerce 50 People Forum and the E-Commerce Professional Committee of the China Association of Trade in Services, was successfully held at the Langfang Airport International Convention and Exhibition Center
As a key supporting event of the "2025 China Langfang International Economic and Trade Fair," the conference centered on the theme of "Building a Global Marketing Service System to Empower Industrial Belt Going Global." It brought together global industry leaders, experts, scholars, and business elites, aiming to establish a high-end platform that gathers global wisdom and fosters consensus for cooperation. The event sought to drive the transition of cross-border e-commerce from product exports to brand exports, promote the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry from cost-oriented to value-oriented, and inject new momentum into the global development of cross-border e-commerce.
Over 400 attendees participated in the conference, including government officials, representatives from international organizations, embassy and consulate officials, international think tank experts, university scholars, and business representatives. Notable attendees included Zhao Xinhai, Vice Governor of Hebei Province; Zhang Zefeng, Director of the Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce; Gao Peiyong,Former Vice President and member of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; Ahmed Mustafa, Director of the League of Arab States' China representative office; Bruno Masier, President of the World Trade Point Federation; John McLean, Chairman of China-UK Business Development Centre; Jesús Enrique Escamilla Núñez, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Mexico in China; Mandefro Shiferaw, Minister Counselor, Ethiopian Embassy in China; and representatives from companies such as Guangdong Top Ideal SCM Technology Group Corporation, Great Way Trading & Transportation, Inc., and Digital China Instant Technology Logistics.
Additionally, Parallel events included the Cross-Border E-Commerce AI Application Practice Case Sharing Session, the "Hebei Goods Going Global" Investment Attraction and Product Selection Matchmaking Event, and the Digital Economy High-Level Talent Cultivation Forum.
As the global cross-border e-commerce market continues to expand and evolve, the Chinese cross-border e-commerce industry is entering a new development stage filled with opportunities and challenges.
